Ayada Maldives is a luxury resort located amidst a pristine reef within the southern rim of the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll in southern Maldives.

The first resort built in this pristine corner of Maldives, Ayada boasts fantastic accommodation in large and beautifully designed contemporary villas. It's set on a perfect island surrounded by superb and largely undiscovered reefs; there are also some excellent surf breaks nearby.It's a great choice for anyone looking for a luxurious diving and water sports holiday.

There are nine different villa types, sized from around 85sq metres up to 350 sq metres. They’re done out in timber and thatch and enjoy their own pools, sleek and contemporary furnishings with an Asian flavour and lots of luxurious extras such as Nespresso machines, media hubs and fullin-room bars.

Guests can enjoy spectacular sunsets or swim in the coral waters. Rejuvenating spa treatments are offered at the spa while a fitness centre lets guests have a work out. Dining options include Magu that serves breakfast and dinner, Ocean Breeze restaurant and bar perched over the turquoise blue waters of the Indian Ocean is for sophisticated dining and the Kai Far East Asian restaurant serves cuisines from Indian to Japan and has an extensive wine cellar. Ille De Joie Cheese and Wine Bar is located amidst Ocean Villas offers and extensive selection of wine and cheese. The Ottoman Lounge serves authentic Turkish Coffee, a variety of teas and an array of traditional shisha. Zero Degree Poolside Restaurant and Bar that has an in-house DJ.

There are three restaurants on the island, as well as the fabulously indulgent overwater Ile de Joie, where fine wines, cheeses, oysters,caviar and chocolates are all served in a variety of gastronomic combinations.Other facilities include a gorgeously designed AySpa spa, a hammam and steam room, tennis and badminton courts, a full gym, a water sports centre and atop-of-the-range dive school.

Important Information

• Rates are not valid during peak periods, Christmas, New Year and Festival periods.
• About Transfers: Upon arriving to Velena (MLE), guests are greeted by one of resort's airport representatives and escorted to the domestic lounge, then later to the departing domestic flight gate. The resort is only a short (55 minutes) domestic flight and a speed boat trip (50 minutes) away from Male
• General Baggage restrictions in Maldives for transfers: Speed Boat and Ferry Boat: Private speed boat and schedule speed boat there is no luggage restriction For Domestic Flight and Sea Plane: The standard permissible weight is 25 kg, which includes 20 kg of checked-in luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage per person
