Overview

Uttarakhand is often referred to as the Devbhumi due to many Hindu temples and pilgrimage centres found throughout the state.The state is divided into two divisions, Garhwal and Kumaon, with a total of 13 districts. The interim capital of Uttarakhand is Dehradun, the largest city of the state, which is a rail head. Some of the most well-known hill stations in India are in Uttarakhand like Mussoorie, Nainital, Dhanaulti, Chakrata, Tehri, Lansdowne, Pauri, Sattal, Almora, Kausani, Bhimtal, and Ranikhet are some popular hill stations in Uttarakhand. Auli and Munsiyari are well-known skiing resorts in the state. The state has 12 National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries which cover 13.8 percent of the total area of the state. The oldest national park on the Indian sub-continent, Jim Corbett National Park, is a major tourist attraction. The park has varied wildlife and Project Tiger run by the Government of India.

Day 1

Delhi - Nainital (290 Kms / approx. 7 to 8 hours)

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will meet our representative/driver at the airport or railway station & drive towards Nainital. On arrival check-in at your pre booked hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Nainital

Today, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Nainital. Visit Snow View Peak, at an altitude of 2270 m, situated on top of the Sher-ka-danda ridge. A ropeway or cable car ride is the best-known way to access the snow viewpoint. Also visit Naini Peak, also known as Cheena Peak. Later, visit Dorothy’s Seat, which provides picture perfect views of Nainital and its surrounding regions. Then proceed to Land's End, to enjoy spectacular views of Khurpatal and its surroundings. Next, proceed to the State Observatory of Nainital, which is devoted to astronomical studies. Lastly, visit Hanumangarhi, popular for its spectacular view of the sunset. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

Nainital – Corbett (150 Kms / approx. 4 to 5 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Corbett. Situated in the picturesque Kumaon hills in Nainital district, the park has a population of 582 species of birds, 26 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians and 50 species of mammals. It is named after the famous hunter and naturalist, Jim Corbett, who popularized this land and its animals in his book "The Man-Eaters of Kumaon". Upon arrival check in at your pre booked hotel in Corbett. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4

Corbett

Early morning visit Corbett National Park by Jeep / Elephant safari ( at an additional cost) and enjoy viewing all the wildlife. Evening is at leisure to enjoy in house hotel activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5

Corbett - Mussoorie (280 Kms / approx. 7 to 8 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Mussoorie - established by the British in 1823, Mussoorie became hugely popular with the Raj set. The influence of that era linger on in the architecture of the churches, libraries, hotels and summer palaces, also on adjacent town Landour. Upon arrival, check-in at your pre booked hotel. Day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6

Mussoorie

Today, enjoy sightseeing of Mussoorie. Visit the famous Mall Road… the Mall is Mussoorie's main artery. Running through Kulri Bazaar, on towards Library Chowk, the Mall offers an amazing variety of pastimes. Later, take the cable car that starts from the Mall and goes up to Gun Hill, enjoying the mesmeric views of the Himalayan peaks and a bird's eye view of Mussoorie and its environs. Afterwards, visit Kempty falls, located 15 kms from Mussoorie. The falls offer a breathtaking view of the water cascading down forty feet, splitting into five streams on the way. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7

Mussoorie – Delhi (290 Kms / approx. 7 to 8 hours)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey.

Important Information

Hotel Check in 1400hrs and check out 1200hrs.
Medium vehicle will be provided for 1-3 travelers and Innova will be provided for 4-5 travelers.
Package cost will not be valid from 20th December 2017 – 10th January 2018. Also on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions and long-weekends. A surcharge will be levied and will be advised at the time of booking.
A/C will not work in hilly areas.
