Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives is a luxury resort with beautiful beaches and house reef snorkeling in Vaavu atoll. This  five-star deluxe resort features sleek Italian design elements, a hosting loft, suites, water bungalows, villas and family accommodation comprising 90 rooms in five room categories. Exclusively designed furniture from Germany, Italy and the Far East offer the property a chic and exclusive ambience. Guests can dine at the resort’s variety of gourmet restaurants serving an international platter in the most scenic setting. The resort also offers a continental or buffet breakfast.

Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives is surrounded by a beautiful lagoon, an excellent house reef and long stretches of white, sandy beach. The resort offers an array of unique experiences including a swimmable lagoon surrounding the island with an abundance of marine-life. It is the only resort on the island of Aarah, located in in the pristine waters of Vaavu (Felidhoo) Atoll. The resort can be reached by 25-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport or through Speed boat transfers which takes a 75-minute ride.

Important Information

  • Rates are not valid during peak periods, Christmas, New Year and Festival periods.
  • About Transfers: Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives Resort is located in the pristine blue waters of Vaavu Atoll. To reach the resort from Male International Airport, two modes of transfer are available. Speedboat: Transfers by Speedboat takes 75 minutes of time from Male International Airport. Speed Boat transfer is included in the package. Sea Plane: Duration of the Seaplane transfer is approximately half an hour (25-30 minutes) . This can be arranged at a supplement cost.
  • Seaplane Standard Transfer Times: For same day transfer for international flight arrival at Male International Airport before 1515 hours and departure for flights from Male International Airport after 0930 hours. Do intimate the resort, your selected choice of mode of transfer along with your arrival and departure flight schedules at least 72 hours prior to your arrival. Guests must send arrival and departure flight details directly to the property at least 72 hours prior to arrival.
  • General Baggage restrictions in Maldives for transfers: Speed Boat: In speed boat there is no luggage restriction. For Domestic Flight and Sea Plane: The standard permissible weight is 25 kg, which includes 20 kg of checked-in luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage per person
