Day 1

Arrive Hanoi

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, welcome by our guide and transfer to your hotel. The driving time is approximately 40 munites. In the afternoon, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is the center point of Hanoi and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species. Its name “Hoan Kiem” comes from a legend of a sacred sword being lent to an ancient Vietnamese King by a holy turtle from the lake and later returned to the turtle. Next, discover special Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry as well as Vietnamese folklore through a compelling puppet show at Thang Long Theatre. Shop at a Café shop or walk at leisure in the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets. Meal: No Meal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2

Hanoi - Full Day City Tour

Enjoy a yummy breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, proceed for the city tour. The city tour begins with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. At the complex, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the nation’s founder’s body is preserved (closed on Monday, Friday and through October - November), the colonial Presidential Palace, originally the French Governor Office and a fine example of French architecture in Hanoi, and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. In the afternoon, continue the tour to one of the following museums of your choice namely the Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Museum of Revolution, the Museum of Military History or the Museum of Ethnology. Next, head for Hoan Kiem Lake, the center point of Hanoi whose name “The Return Sword Lake” originated from a legend of a sacred sword and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species and visit Ngoc Son Temple on the lake. Take an hour cycle tour of the Old Quarter of Hanoi with its ancient streets representing traditional trades from the past. Finish the tour at the Thang Long Opera Theatre with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3

Hanoi - Halong - UNESCO World Heritage

In the morning post breakfast, pickup at 8:00 AM from your hotel for transfer to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 kms or 3.5 hours drive away. The transfer is approximately 3 hours. You will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields and you may stop on the way to admire the local scenery. Arrive in Ha Long City at 11:30 AM and check in aboard the booked junk right after the welcome drink is served. Start cruising while having lunch on board and enjoy the mighty bay view. Ha Long Bay which means Descending Dragon Bay in Vietnamese as legend has it that it was where a holy dragon landed down from the sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back to 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km square. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbath on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, you will visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local people who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. An optional kayaking trip is available (weather permitting). Back onboard enjoy a lavish dinner and enjoy the bay view at sunset. Spend a night on board. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (Seafood or Vegetarian Food). Overnight stay on cruise in Halong.

Day 4

Ha Long - Hanoi - Hoian

In the morning, refresh your body and mind with a Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Have tea and coffee onboard and continue exploring Ha Long Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. Normally, check-out at 09:30, have a buffet brunch while cruising back to shore. Disembark at 11:00 AM to transfer to Hanoi capital. Free at leisure until meet our guide then transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Flight time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Meet our guide and driver then transfer to the hotel in Hoi An for check-in. The driving time is approximately 40 minutes. Meals: Breakfast, brunch (Seafood or Vegetarian Food). Overnight stay at the hotel in Hoi An.

Day 5

Hoi An Full Day Ancient Town

After a sumptuous breakfast,proceed for the city tour in the morning to discover the charm of Hoi An as a renowned World Heritage Site. Once a bustling maritime commercial port of Asia between 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An is now a peaceful town of exceptionally well-preserved architecture, lifestyles and traditions. After receiving a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of traditional lanterns, start a walking tour around the town to see its highlight sightseeing include the town’s iconic 400 years old Covered Bridge with a small temple attached to one side as a prominent example of Japanese architecture, the Museum of Trade Ceramics which is an elegant Vietnamese style wooden house built in 1858 showcasing antique ceramic artifacts, the 200 years old Tan Ky House typifying an ancient Chinese merchant residence, the Ong Temple built in 1653 by Chinese settlers to worship Guan Yu, an ancient Chinese general whose character stands for loyalty, bravery and justice and the local market vibrant with colors and activities. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Thu Bon River to enjoy the countryside landscapes and land on Kim Bong village where carpentry has been practiced since the 16th Century as the village’s trademark to visit some old-fashioned boatyards using timber as the main material. Afterwards, move on to Thanh Ha village to see its traditional ceramic production trade still alive and thriving despite the 500 years passage of time. Return to the hotel. Note: Hoi An is famous for tailor-made clothes. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Hoi An.

Day 6

Hoi An - Danang - Nha Trang

Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Nha Trang. Arrive Nha Trang. Meet our local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, spend half day to discover the coastal city of Nha Trang, which is well known for its long pristine sandy beaches on the turquoise sea, which are ranked among the world’s best beaches. From a patch of wilderness back before the 17th century, Nha Trang has gone a long way to become the metropolitan center of Khanh Hoa province and an international tourism hotspot nowadays. Visit the Po Nagar Temple, which is a vestige of the ancient Cham Empire before the 17th Century, the Oceanography Institute which showcases the local marine life’s diversity and the Hon Chong Promontory which offers a unique seascape with the boulder-stacked shore, Long Son Pagoda which was first built on Mount Trai Thuy in 1886 and named Dang Long Pagoda. End of the tour with a visit to Dam market which is the commercial center for local businesses and shopper. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nha Trang.

Day 7

Nha Trang

Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you will be picked up today by private car and English speaking guide for a day trip to Mun island - a Marine Protected Area MPA, belonging to Nha Trang Bay. Spend the day diving and snorkeling with your guide. Experience the richest coral biodiversity of corals identified in Vietnam with over 350 species and many kinds of big, colorful fishes. Picturesque islands are one of the reasons for Nha Trang Bay to be rated among the most beautiful bays in the world. Travel 10 kms offshore to discover Mun Island, the bay’s most scenic island that is known as a diving heaven characterized by crystal clear sea and rugged cliffs. Dive and snorkel by the island over coral reefs teeming with colorful sea life and enjoy the underwater excitement. The island and the waters around it belong to the Nha Trang Bay marine protected area for its exceptional biological abundance. Around 350 types of corals have been discovered here along with over 1,000 other marine species. Enjoy seafood lunch on your own on the island and relax before returning back to your hotel in the late afternoon. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nha Trang.

Day 8

Nha Trang - Dalat

In the morning post breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to Da Lat city which is a popular vacation spot for native Vietnamese.This city is popular due to its crisp mountain air, beautiful surrounding forests and California like weather with private car, driver and English speaking guide. (225 kms, driving distance is approximately 5 hours).Arrive Da Lat, check-in the hotel and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Da Lat. Visit Xuan Huong Lake, the Da Lat Flower Garden, Lam Dong Museum, Linh Son Pagoda, Bao Dai's summer palace which was built in 1933 and the famous Hang Nga guest house and art gallery, also known as the "crazy house". Return to the hotel. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dalat.

Day 9

Dalat - Boating, Cable Car, Elephant Riding

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Cable Car Station by car for one way ride to Tuyen Lam Lake. Take a boat trip cruising the lake to the other site for touring on elephant back and taking relax rest in the pine forest park. Transfer back to Da Lat and evening is free at leisure. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dalat.

Day 10

Dalat - Phan Thiet

Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, proceed for Phan Thiet. Arrive Phan Thiet and spend the time in swimming and sunbathing. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Phan Thiet.

Day 11

Phan Thiet

Breakfast at the hotel. Day is free at leisure and spend the time on your own. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Phan Thiet.

Day 12

Phan Thiet - Ho Chi Minh

Post breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Ho Chi Minh, formerly named as Saigon which is the largest city and economic center of Vietnam always bustled with activities of modern life. It is where businesses converge and shoppers indulge themselves into unlimited choices. However the city also carries with it a rich historical legacy in contrast with its dazzling glamor. Arrive Ho Chi Minh city, welcome by our guide and start a city tour right away. Begin with visiting the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans, the Reunification Palace which was formerly the South Vietnam President’s residence and symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until end of April 1975. Stop at Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles, Saigon Central Post Office, former US Embassy, Cho Lon or the city’s China Town with its Quan Am Pagoda. Meal: Breakfast. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 13

Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, depart from the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City to the area referred to locally as ‘the rice bowl of Vietnam’ – My Tho.Upon arrival, you will board your local boat for a cruise among the aptly named Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix Islands. En-route, visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut and Turtle Island, where a stop will be made in a tropical orchard to taste some exotic fruit. Then take a ride on a horse cart along country roads to a famed garden for a honey tasting. Continue on a smaller rowing boat for a more adventurous ride through the Xep Canal which is set amongst a forest of palm trees. Back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.Evening is free at leisure. Meal: Breakfast.. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 14

Depart Ho Chi Minh

Today our trip ends. Post breakfast, meet our guide and driver at the hotel lobby and transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport to catch your flight back to home. We wish to serve you again!
