China, a communist nation in East Asia, is one of the world’s most populous country. China which is approx 10hrs flight from India depending on the duration and connectivity is a worth place to visit. Its vast landscape encompasses grassland, desert, mountain ranges, lakes, rivers and 14,500 kms of coastline offers you a unique experience. Beijing, the capital of China, mixes modern architecture with its historic sites including sprawling Tiananmen Square. Spending time here is to be on a permanent journey of discovery, where eye-popping buildings appear seemingly overnight, historic Hutongs are transformed into hip hang-outs and new venues open all the time. Xian, one of the famous cities of China has its own grace to offer. Xian’s city walls remain intact, vendors of all descriptions still crowd the narrow lanes of the warren-like Muslim Quarter and there are enough places of interest to keep even the most amateur historian riveted. Its largest city, Shanghai, is a skyscraper-studded global financial center. From the architectural landmarks lining the Bund and the rickety charm of the Old Town to the leafy backstreets of the former French Concession, Shanghai is a city that just begs for wandering. The iconic Great Wall of China fortification runs east-west across the country's north.
