After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a city tour of Bentota. Enjoy the Turtle Hatchery Tour. Turtle Hatchery is one of Hatcheries where the eggs are left at the nests on the beach, well protected from predators and people until they are hatched and allow the young ones to go to the sea in the natural way. This is a place where you can see the Turtles when they come ashore, lay their eggs, close the nests and goes back to the sea. Here you can see the 5 species of Turtles coming to the beaches to lay their eggs. In the evening enjoy the city tour of Bentota and Madu River Boat Safari - The Madu River is a paradise of nature. This river is found on your way to Galle in the southern province. A beautiful river mixed with sea water. The both banks of the river covered with mangroves and species of various plants. You can see beautiful small islands speeded over the area. While doing this safari you can visit a temple also with a tall Buddha statue in standing posture in an Island named “koth Duwa”- A little break at the temple. The peeling of cinnamon can also be seen in one of the Island. Explore Sri Lanka where very rarely you will find crocodiles but a large number of water monitors and beautiful birds are seen in these Islands. You will see how to true the prawn using the traditional ways of trapping. From the main Colombo Galle road the boat riders will take you through the net groves of mangroves in which you can see water monitors king fisher’s, wood peckers, megalaima rubricapilla (crimson frontea Barbex),Black - hooded oriole and large number of birds in flocks. On your way, you will also see a fish breeding center in the middle of the river. Evening is free at leisure to enjoy the beautiful beach on your own.

Bentota – Yala (Approx 6 hrs drive)
Enjoy a yummy breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, check-out and transfer to Yala. The ancient capital of the province of Ruhuna, to which Sinhalese patriots rallying support against Indian invaders fled. The exposed monuments consists of Menik, Yatala, Tissamaharama and Sandagiriya Dagobas and the large pillared hall close to Yatala Dagoba supposed to be the Temple where the Sacred For-head Relics of the Buddha was kept until it was enshrined at the Tissamaharama Dagoba. Evening is free to explore this national park on your own.

Yala is famous for its big herds and large number of Elephants, Leopards, Spotted Deer, Sambhur, Crocodiles, Mongoose, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo and many other animals. After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Colombo the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Check-in to the hotel. Rest and relax. In the evening, proceed for Colombo city and shopping tour. Colombo - A drive through the city will take you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. Visit the Mlesna exquisite tea boutique, cashew nut shop, readymade garments and all sorts at Majestic City. Visit the Lanka Ceramics Centre, a place where you can buy “NORITAKE SET” or other ceramic items. Visit the Odel shop at Lipton place and House of Fashion.
